​Hello! I'm Joey Castillo! I’ve been playing drums since I was 8 years old, starting in church and building my skills through concert band and high school drumline. Today, I’m a session musician in the studio and I also perform live with Sarah, while also playing keys, guitar, and bass. Music isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. I love working with students of all levels and helping them build confidence, skill, and their own unique style behind the kit. My name is Sandra Chavez but I like to go by Sandy. I was born and raised in San Diego but I am currently residing in Bakersfield. I've been playing drums since I was 10 and I am now 36. I have played drums at a variety of events and conventions in Las Vegas, San Diego Bakersfield and LA. I love playing drums but I more so love teaching kids how to express themselves through the art of this musical instrument. Come get some lessons! I am so excited to teach you!
